Our Mission
Okakambe is a registered non-profit organisation dedicated to the ethical care of animals, responsible tourism, and education. Our mission is to protect and rehabilitate horses and dogs, share knowledge about animal welfare, and create meaningful connections between people, animals, and the Namibian landscape.
Through responsible horse riding experiences, volunteer programs, and educational initiatives, we aim to generate sustainable funding for the care of our animals while promoting respect, awareness, and understanding.
We believe that tourism can be a force for good — supporting animal welfare, local communities, and environmental responsibility — when it is done with care, honesty, and respect.
